This Nightwatch review prices each rank tracking plan from Nightwatch's own pages as of October 23, 2026, in euros, the only currency it lists. The fact to know first: the pricing page opens on yearly billing, so the €79 Starter price is the yearly rate, and paying monthly costs €99. We have not tested its accuracy yet.
Nightwatch Pricing: Plans Billed in Euros
Nightwatch pricing comes in euros only, with no dollar price for any plan on the Nightwatch pricing page, so we never convert. Starter is €99 a month, Professional €199 and Agency €499; Enterprise starts at 20,000 keywords and is priced by quote.

Nightwatch Monthly vs Yearly Price: The €79 Headline
Nightwatch's monthly and yearly prices differ by about 20%, and the €79 headline is the yearly rate: €948 paid once a year. Billed monthly, Starter is €99, Professional €199 rather than €159, and Agency €499 rather than €399.
Until April 2026 Nightwatch sold a dollar-priced keyword slider from 250 keywords at $32 a month billed yearly, with seats, API and white label on that entry tier, so older reviews quoting $32 are out of date. A 30% Black Friday banner was also up on October 23, as it was in April, with no terms shown.
What the Nightwatch Starter Plan Leaves Out
The Nightwatch Starter plan leaves out the API, white-label reports and the Looker Studio connector, though the page says every plan gets the full toolkit. The headline promises unlimited seats with no per-seat fees, yet the comparison table withholds unlimited seats from Starter without saying how many it gets. An older help article says adding users needs more than 1,000 tracked keywords.
Starter also caps you at 5 websites and 5 competitors per site. For client work, Professional is the real entry: 2,500 keywords, 25 sites, white label, API and unlimited seats.
Nightwatch Rank Tracking: Engines and Devices in Every Plan
Nightwatch rank tracking covers six engines and three devices in every plan: Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, YouTube and Google Maps, on desktop, mobile and tablet. Locations go down to ZIP code across 107,000+ places in 190+ countries, with Local Pack and Maps ranks kept apart. Each check stores the raw results page for three years. Positions update daily; the pricing page also promises on-demand checks, but a 2024 help article says Nightwatch does not support them.
How Nightwatch Counts Keywords Toward Your Plan
Nightwatch counts each keyword, location, device and engine combination as one keyword toward your plan. Fifty keywords tracked in five cities on desktop and mobile is 500, all of Starter. Compare per-keyword costs on rank tracker prices.
Nightwatch Main Rank Setting to Check Before You Buy
Nightwatch's main rank setting reports the best position across SERP features by default, so check it before you buy or compare. It takes the highest spot among organic, Local Pack, image carousel, featured snippet and knowledge panel results, so a Local Pack listing can stand in for a weaker organic rank. Switch to organic only in URL settings; the change doesn't rewrite past data.
Nightwatch Free Trial and Refund Terms Before You Pay
Nightwatch offers a 14-day free trial on every plan with no card required, but its refund terms promise nothing. Its pricing FAQ also says a trial not canceled within 14 days is billed as a monthly plan, without explaining how that works with no card, so cancel or ask support before day 14. The Terms say Nightwatch has no obligation to give refunds at any time. There is no free plan and no contract.
Who Should Buy Nightwatch, and Which Plan
Buy Nightwatch if you track local rankings by ZIP code across several engines and want the raw results page saved for every check. Starter suits one person with up to 5 sites. Professional is the agency plan, since white label reporting and team seats start there. Skip it if you need backlink data (its toolkit lists no backlink tool), dollar pricing or a refund window. SE Ranking includes backlink tools at $129 a month.
G2 lists 4.7 from 64 reviews on Nightwatch's seller page and Capterra 4.8 from 39, both from search results read October 23, 2026. We found no Trustpilot profile. Dislikes on G2 mention wanting more integrations and blurry tutorial videos.
