This privacy policy for SEO Tools Tested explains what the site collects and what it does not. The short version: we collect one thing, your email address, and only if you sign up for price-change alerts. This policy was updated on October 23, 2026.

What SEO Tools Tested Collects

SEO Tools Tested collects one piece of personal data: the email address you enter when you sign up for price-change alerts. We store it in a private file on the site's host, and we use it for one purpose only, sending you those alerts. If you never sign up, we never have your address. We don't ask for your name, and we never handle payments: when you buy a tool, you pay the vendor on its own site.

Like every web host, ours keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. We don't use those logs to profile visitors, and the sign-up form stores only a one-way hash of your IP address to stop repeat spam sign-ups.

Price Alert Emails and Unsubscribing

Every price alert email includes an unsubscribe line, and using it stops the alerts. Each alert is about a price change on a tool we cover, nothing else. If you also want your address removed from our file, email hello@seotoolstested.com and ask; we will delete it. You don't need to give a reason.

Analytics, Ads and Fonts on This Site

This site runs no analytics yet and shows no ads, so no analytics or advertising company gets data about your visit from us. Our fonts are served from the site itself, so reading a page doesn't send a request to an outside font service. If we add analytics later, we will say so on this page and change its date.

Affiliate Links and Vendor Cookies

Affiliate links on this site go through /go/ addresses, and when you click one, the vendor's site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Those cookies tell the vendor that we referred you, so it can credit us if you buy. How long they last depends on the program: SE Ranking's affiliate terms name 120 days, for example, and Nightwatch's name 365. What a vendor collects after you land on its site is governed by its policy, not ours, so read it before you sign up.
