Semrush pricing starts at $139.95 a month for the classic SEO plan, shown on the pricing page as $139. The number to watch is what one tracked keyword costs: $0.28 a month on that plan, more than four times SE Ranking's $0.065. Prices are in US dollars as of October 23, 2026, billed monthly unless we say billed yearly.

By tier, it is $0.40 on Starter, where the extra money buys AI prompts rather than keywords, and $0.20 on Pro+. Billed yearly, SEO drops to $0.23 and Pro+ to $0.17. SE Ranking Core tracks 2,000 keywords daily for $129, Ahrefs Lite 750 weekly for $129 ($0.172 each), and SpyFu Basic 5,000 weekly for $39. Do two sums before you buy. AI tracking is cheaper inside a plan: SEO plus the AI Visibility toolkit costs $238.95 a month for 25 prompts, while Starter costs $199 for 50. And seats add up, so three people on Pro+ cost at least $389 a month. Semrush Refund Terms and Free Trial Before You Pay
Semrush's refund terms and free trial both run 7 days, and both have catches.
The trial is for new users, needs a card, and charges automatically when it ends unless you cancel; you get one. Refunds cover only a first annual plan or first add-on bought on semrush.com by card, requested in writing within 7 calendar days. Month-to-month plans are never refunded. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term, and plans can't be paused.
